Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a cleaning service with Cleanovative. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Cleanovative is a professional cleaning company operating across Greater Sydney, providing regular house cleaning, deep cleaning, end of lease cleaning, carpet cleaning, and related services since 2011.

By booking a service or using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.

2 Booking and Confirmation

  • All bookings are subject to availability and are not confirmed until you receive written or verbal confirmation from Cleanovative.
  • By making a booking, you confirm that you are the owner, tenant, or authorised occupant of the property, or that you have the legal authority to arrange cleaning services for that property.
  • You agree to provide accurate information about your property, including the correct number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and any specific conditions, hazards, or requirements relevant to the clean.
  • Providing inaccurate property information may result in a revised quote or additional charges on the day of service.
  • Cleanovative reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking at our discretion, including where safety concerns exist on the premises.

3 Pricing and Payment

  • All prices displayed on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices are based on the property size and service type selected at the time of booking.
  • Additional charges may apply for add-on services, for properties in a condition significantly worse than standard, or where extra time beyond the quoted scope is required.
  • Where additional work is identified on arrival, our team will communicate this to you before proceeding. You are under no obligation to accept additional scope.
  • Payment is due on the day of service upon completion of the clean, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing prior to the booking.
  • We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, and major credit and debit cards. Payment processing fees may apply for card payments.
  • Cleanovative reserves the right to update its pricing at any time. Confirmed bookings will be honoured at the originally quoted price.

4 Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a booking without charge.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted service price.
  • If you cancel on the same day as a scheduled clean or are not reachable when our cleaner arrives, a full cancellation fee equal to the service price may apply.
  • Cleanovative reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a booking in circumstances beyond our control, including extreme weather, illness, or emergencies. We will notify you as soon as possible and arrange an alternative date at no additional cost.

5 Access to the Property

  • You must ensure that our cleaning team has safe and unobstructed access to the property at the agreed time.
  • If access cannot be gained at the scheduled time due to reasons within your control (e.g. no key, no one home, incorrect access details), a lock-out fee may apply.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that any pets are safely secured during the clean for the safety of both the animals and our staff.
  • Our cleaning team has the right to leave any premises where they feel unsafe, threatened, or where conditions pose a health risk. In such cases, a partial or full cancellation fee may apply.

6 Satisfaction Guarantee and Re-Clean Policy

  • Cleanovative is committed to delivering a high-quality cleaning result on every visit. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please notify us within 24 hours of the completion of the clean.
  • We will arrange a complimentary return visit to re-clean any areas you are not satisfied with, at no additional charge.
  • The re-clean guarantee applies only to areas within the original scope of the service booked. It does not apply to new soiling or damage that occurred after the original clean.
  • Claims raised more than 24 hours after the completion of the service will be assessed at our discretion.

End of Lease Bond Guarantee: For end of lease cleaning bookings, if your property manager or real estate agent raises a concern about the cleanliness of the property within 72 hours of our service, we will return and re-clean the flagged areas at no additional cost, subject to the conditions below.

7 End of Lease Cleaning — Bond Guarantee Conditions

Our bond back guarantee for end of lease cleaning is subject to the following conditions:

  • The property must not have been re-occupied, used, or accessed by any other persons for cleaning, moving, or any other purpose after our service was completed.
  • The concern raised by the property manager must relate specifically to items within the scope of our end of lease cleaning checklist.
  • We must be notified within 72 hours of the completion of the clean.
  • The guarantee does not cover items that were excluded from the original scope (e.g. carpet steam cleaning if not booked, external windows not included, garage if not added).
  • The guarantee does not cover pre-existing damage, staining, mould, or issues that are beyond the scope of professional cleaning (e.g. severe mould remediation, pest control beyond standard service).
  • Our team reserves the right to inspect the property before a re-clean and may decline where conditions have changed since our service.

8 Damage and Liability

  • Cleanovative's cleaning staff take the utmost care when working in your home. However, accidents can occasionally occur.
  • If our staff damage any item during the course of a clean, you must notify us within 24 hours of the service with photographic evidence.
  • Cleanovative carries full public liability insurance. Valid damage claims will be assessed and resolved in accordance with our insurance policy.
  • We are not liable for any pre-existing damage to property, items that are already broken or fragile, damage caused by products supplied by the client, or normal wear and tear.
  • We are not liable for damage to items of extreme fragility (e.g. antiques, artworks, irreplaceable heirlooms) unless specifically discussed and agreed upon prior to the service.
  • Our maximum liability in any claim is limited to the cost of the cleaning service provided.

9 Service Exclusions

The following tasks are not included in any standard Cleanovative service and will not be performed under any circumstances:

  • Cleaning of chandeliers, light bulbs, or fixed lighting requiring ladder access above standard height
  • Removal or relocation of heavy furniture or large appliances
  • Exterior cleaning of windows above ground floor (unless specifically booked as a levelled house add-on)
  • Biohazard or trauma scene cleaning
  • Deep mould remediation (beyond standard surface mould treatment)
  • Pest control (flea treatment is available as an add-on for end of lease bookings only)
  • Wax or grout application or tile repairs
  • Removal of mineral deposits (e.g. hard water stains) beyond standard cleaning capability
  • Pet hair embedded deeply in carpets or upholstery (may require additional time at additional cost)
  • Picture rails, stickers, adhesive hooks, or high-reach areas above 2.4m
  • Dishwashing or rearranging of kitchen items beyond standard placement
  • Any task that poses a health and safety risk to our staff

10 Health and Safety

  • Our cleaners use professional-grade, eco-friendly, non-toxic products. If you have specific allergies or sensitivities, please inform us prior to your booking.
  • Cleanovative reserves the right to refuse or cease a clean if the property poses an unreasonable health or safety risk to our staff, including but not limited to: severe biohazard conditions, aggressive animals, or an unsafe physical environment.
  • All Cleanovative staff are trained in safe chemical handling, manual handling, and workplace health and safety procedures.

11 Privacy

We collect and handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Act 1988. By booking with us, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in that policy.

12 Website Use

  • The content on cleanovative.com.au is provided for general information purposes only and is subject to change without notice.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish any content from our website without our prior written consent.
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, our website.
  • Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any linked website.

13 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

These terms do not exclude, restrict, or modify any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which cannot be excluded by contract.

14 Changes to These Terms

Cleanovative reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
